My Activity Space

This won't be the most inspirational posting, but I thought I would post some pictures of my "activity space", that is, the areas I go to (or walk by) on a regular basis. The photos are: the local hindu temple, the lane leading to my apartment, a view over my home turf (Colombo 4, Bambalapitiya), the Friday night "Sundowner" meeting spot, and the pool I stop at on the way home from work (I know I'm obsessed with water).

Vancouver Winter 2007

Well it has certainly been an 'active' weather winter so far. Lots of rain, then lots of wind and now snow and cold temperatures. As I write it is -6 (minus 6) and tomorrow morning it will be -9 (minus 9)...very similar to Terry's weather in Colombo....Not!

Today the sun came out (finally!) and it is supposed to be a mix of sunny days for the next week or so. I have been out taking a few pics over the last while and have included some above.
